Analysis of a Photovoltaic System Based on a Highly Efficient Single-Phase Transformerless Inverter

The essential requirement for a cleaner environment, along with rising consumption, puts strain on the distribution system and power plants, reducing electricity availability, quality, security. Grid-connected photovoltaic systems are one of solutions overcoming this. examination verification transformerless topologies control techniques was significant goal this study. concept is advantageous its high efficiency; converter has added advantages reduced price, complexity, weight, size. This study presents novel high-efficiency architecture that does not create common-mode currents inject DC current into grid. A single-phase inverter circuit two step-down converters constructed in Low-frequency switches determine polarity grid connection. In order to gate pulses switching devices, which each regulate half-wave output current, PIC 16F877 employed. Because there were fewer semiconductors they simpler operate, it possible achieve degree efficiency reliability. prototype model input 12 V, 2 fabricated, test results obtained losses. Further investigation improvement elimination ground leakage been analysed through simulation.
